Max Sibomana was discharged today after nearly 6 weeks of admission in the Hospital for Radio therapy at Cancer Institute of Mulago National Specialized Hospital.
After completing this successful Radiotherapy treatment, it is evident that there is a remarkable healing sign for Maxi. His neck could not move easily before. Interestingly, today as he was discharged you could freely and painlessly move his head and this Maxi said is an incredible difference.
Maxi’s resilience and endurance of the pain and also his belief that he will heal is part of the motivation for the SCOSP team to work hard towards ensuring that Maxi achieves total and complete healing.
It has been a long journey but it took a little bit of faith, love, resilience and endurance for everyone that was involved and especially those who believe in and support the Skin cancer screening, prevention and treatment program work of SCOSP.
Maxi happy for the Visit of Michael after spending more than a month in hospital
To us at SCOSP every life matters!
After clearance plans arrangements of his expenses were made, Maxi’s transport to Kisoro District was paid. Therefore, Maxi is now homeward bound for about 7-9 hours by Bus from Kampala to Kisoro his home Town.
Maxi will return to Mulago National Specialized Hospital for review by a specialist and a laboratory tests will be done on the 2nd Day of February 2022. Thereafter, Maxi will be given another schedule for routine follow up until Maxi is completely free of the carcinoma.
Thank you the SCOSP team, our donators all who started the Journey with us. There is still however more work to be done to cover the remaining unpaid Maxi’s bills.
This was the mood Maxi was paid a surprise visit.
